Short Setter Defense

I have a short setter in our future, and will likely get minimal blocking at the net.  Do we soft block? Pull back?  Any experience with this situation? Advice?

Troy,
Look up Yoshie Takeshita (Japan Olympic setter size 5’3″). Yoshie ran a 5-1 with the Japan Olympic team and played from 1997-2012. How Japan used her might give you some ideas. I think you can soft block and pull back your setter. It just depends on the situation and what your opponents do. If your opponents are hitting line move your libero into right back to help with defense. Japan did this when they took 3rd in the Olympics with Yoshie setting.
